Album release supports kids’ theater

Shannon Wurst will host an album release and fundraising concert for the Trike Theatre at 6 p.m. Sunday at Greenhouse Grille in Fayetteville. Doors open at 5 p.m.

Wurst’s new CD, Lionheart Love, was recorded in Bozeman, Mont., with funding secured through an Arkansas Fellowship Award and the online, crowd-sourced fundraising site Kickstarter. Wurst’s songs will be paired with multimedia footage and actor’s interpretations.

Wurst and her band will perform as part of a fictitious radio show hosted by director Jason Suel. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door; seating is limited.

Architecture lecture is Monday night

Miami architect Chad Oppenheim will present a lecture called “Enhanced Life” at 5:30 p.m. Monday in the Hembree Auditorium at the Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences Building on the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville.

Oppenheim is the founder of Oppenheim Architecture + Design, a firm that has earned global recognition for its socially and environmentally conscious architecture. His lecture is the Ernie Jacks Lecture and is sponsored by the UA Department of Architecture.
