BELLA VISTA — The City Council will hold its first regular meeting of the new year at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Highlands Crossing Center.
Items on the agenda include resolutions to extend an agreement with Crafton, Tull and Associates for engineering services, to set regular dates and times for council meetings in 2013, to continue the city employee wellness program put in place last year and to purchase a used forklift.
Aldermen also will discuss the city’s relationship with the Bentonville/Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce. The city contracts $25,000 annually with the chamber for services. The extension of the contract in the 2013 budget was questioned by former council members, who were unsure what good the contract was doing for the city.
The meeting is open to the public.
