CHALK TALK Arkansas sophomore guard BJ Young, averaging a team-high 16.9 points, came off the bench for the first time this season and scored 13 points in 17 minutes in the Razorbacks’ 96-70 victory over Mississippi State on Wednesday night. ... The Razorbacks have lost their past five trips to South Carolina since winning there 69-67 in 2001. ... Junior guard Brenton Williams hasn’t been starting for South Carolina, but he’s averaging a team-high 12.2 points. He had 16 points in the Gamecocks’ 71-65 loss at Missouri on Tuesday night. ... Arkansas is 0-5 in out of-state games, losing to Arizona State and Wisconsin in Las Vegas and on the road at Michigan, Texas A&M and Ole Miss. ...
