Presentation Remembers Martin Luther King Jr

The song “Take My Hand, Precious Lord” always will remind Jerry Moore of the day in 1968 Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated. Moore, director of NorthWest Arkansas Community College’s Upward Bound program, sang the song for an audience at a King presentation Thursday.

Martin Luther King Jr. was born Jan. 15, 1929. He was assassinated April 4, 1968. He was the youngest man to receive a Nobel Peace Prize in 1964.
