Drug Task Force

• Jeffrey Ruzic, 55, of 3208 N. Warwick Drive in Fayetteville was arrested Tuesday in connection with felony possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Ruzic was in the Washington County Detention Center on $3,500 bond Wednesday.

Of Community Correction

• Pedro Gomez-Ortega, 37, of 1214 N. C St. in Rogers was arrested Wednesday in connection with revocation of a suspended sentence or probation. Gomez-Ortega was being held Wednesday in the Benton County with no bond set.

Bella Vista

• Elizabeth Anne Lyon, 29, of 1403 S.E. C St. in Bentonville was arrested Tuesday in connection with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and revocation of a suspended sentence or probation. Lyon was being held Wednesday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

• Ashton Renae Presley, 23, of 731 Venice St. in Centerton was arrested Tuesday in connection with contempt, and misdemeanor and felony failures to appear. Presley was being held Wednesday in the Benton County Jail on a $1,000 bond for the misdemeanor, and bond had not been set on the felony.

Fayetteville

• Allen Taylor, 39, of 1846 W. Preservation Drive was arrested Wednesday in connection with felony possession of a controlled substance, along with misdemeanor failure to pay fines and cost and failure to appear. Taylor was in the Washington County Detention Center on $2,374 bond Wednesday.

• Frederick Fisher, 47, of 3410 W. Finger Road was arrested Wednesday in connection with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to delivery and possession of drug paraphernalia. FIsher was in the Washington County Detention Center without bond Wednesday.

Springdale

• Devin Tomlinson, 27, of 1187 Double Spring Road in Fayetteville was arrested Tuesday in connection with felony theft by receiving and false evidence of title or registration. Police said Tomlinson was driving a vehicle reported stolen in Rogers. Tomlinson was released Wednesday from the Washington County Detention Center on $2,500 bond.

• Michael Larson, 24, of 2410 W. Oak St. in Rogers, and Tanya Huizar, 20, of 2440 W. Gum St. in Rogers were arrested Tuesday in connection with felony robbery. Larson also was arrested in connection with felony theft by receiving, forgery and warrants from Lowell and Benton County. Huizar also was arrested in connection with misdemeanor obstructing governmental operations. Police said the couple took a PlayStation Vita from Gamelot, 312-B Thompson St. and forced their way outside. Larson was in the Washington County Detention Center on Wednesday in lieu of $3,500 bond. Huizar was in the Washington County Detention Center on Wednesday awaiting a bond hearing.

• Daniel Ducic, 31, 1974 Karnes Avenue in Lincoln was arrested Wednesday in connection with felony breaking or entering, theft of property, criminal trespass and first-degree criminal mischief. Ducic was in the Washington County Detention Center on $2,500 bond Wednesday.

• Pam Findergraff reported Tuesday the theft of scrap metal from 12016 N. Arkansas 43.

Fayetteville

• A theft was reported at 6379 E. Huntsville Road about 9 a.m. Wednesday. According to a 911 report, 400 feet of wire had been taken from an Ozarks Electric Cooperative substation. The fence to the substation had also been cut, the report said.w Richard Winn reported the theft of a trailer and tools from 12696 Douglas Lane.

• A theft was reported Tuesday at 2412 W. Hudson Road.

• Bob Orband reported Tuesday theft of air conditioning units at 1019 W. Cypress St.

• Erica Fabrizio reported Tuesday a theft at 1913 S. D St.

• Dawn Comstock reported Tuesday forgery involving use of a debit card at 2800 N. Sixth St.

• Martha Gonzalez reported Monday a scam involving purchase of an inoperable Dish Network system at 612 E. Linden St.

• Six people escaped injury after a drive-by shooting damaged their Rogers home late Tuesday. A woman turned onto her street and saw a car drive by her home at 2203 S. D St. She saw an occupant shoot toward the house, said Keith Foster, public information officer. Several shots were fired, hitting a car and the garage of the home. Police were called at 11:51 p.m. The woman’s husband and five children were inside the home. The children’s bedrooms were not near the garage, Foster said. Police also checked neighboring homes and the occupants were fine. The incident is under investigation.

• Diane Bailey reported Tuesday a burglary at Mantecito Springs Apartments, 514 Butterfield Coach Road No. 202.

• Amy Moradel reported Wednesday a break-in at 1672 Par Lane No. 203.

• Jerry Griffin reported Wednesday a burglary at Hilltop Mobile Home Park, 3815 S. Thompson St. No. 1.
