Mental Health Professional To Speak At Hobbs

— Donald Wleklinski, mental health clinical coordinator at the University of Arkansas, will speak Saturday at Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area on the impact of nature on mental health.

“If the answer to the question ‘When was the last time you really felt alive and energized?’ relates to an experience in nature, you are in the company of the vast majority of Americans,” according to Wleklinski.

His presentation is entitled “The Healing Power of Nature.”

The 2 p.m. program will held at the park Visitor Center just east of the Arkansas 12 intersection with War Eagle Road.

There is no charge for the program, which is part of the Friends of Hobbs Speaker Series. For more information, call 479-789-5000.
