Martin Luther King Jr. is remembered in a previous march up Dickson Street in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Forty-five years after his assassination, Martin Luther King Jr. and his legacy as a civil rights leader continue to inspire many. His life will be celebrated with a number of local events.
