Chief U.S. District Judge Susan Webber Wright will make history next month when she convenes two separate juries in her courtroom for one trial. It will be the first two-jury trial in federal court in Arkansas and throughout the seven states in the jurisdiction of the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, based in St. Louis. The trial involves two former Crittenden County law enforcement officers and the brother of one of those officers. The three were jointly indicted on charges related to allegations of illegal cash seizures from motorists and money laundering.
