Faster times, clear skies at Oaklawn

Horses race through the turn during the ÿrst race Thursday at Oaklawn Park in Hot Springs. It was the ÿrst racing on the track since opening day Friday after inclement weather damaged the racing surface and canceled live racing Saturday and Sunday.

They’re off again at Oaklawn Park in Hot Springs. After racing was canceled Saturday and Sunday because of unsafe track conditions caused by heavy rain, Oaklawn’s live season resumed Thursday afternoon under clear skies and temperatures in the mid-50s.
