They’re off again at Oaklawn Park in Hot Springs.

After racing was canceled Saturday and Sunday because of unsafe track conditions caused by heavy rain, Oaklawn’s live season resumed Thursday afternoon under clear skies and temperatures in the mid-50s.

A crowd of 3,126 wagered $271,877.40 on the nine-race card.

Jockey Robby Albarado rode four winners, including two for trainer Cody Autrey. Albarado rode three winners last Friday, the first day of Oaklawn’s live season.

The track produced much faster times Thursday, with Laurie’s Rocket, owned by Willis Horton of Marshall, covering 6 furlongs in 1:10.45 to win the feature race.

Racing resumes at 1:30 p.m. today.
