Audubon Birds
At Beaver Lake
The Northwest Arkansas Audubon Society will host a birding field trip at Rocky Branch park on Beaver Lake at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
Meet at the marina parking area. Common winter birds that may be seen include ducks and geese, loons, bald eagles and woodland songbirds.
A program by Joe Neal about winter birds will follow at 2 p.m. at the Hobbs StatePark-Conservation Visitor Center.
Elk Chapter Sets Banquet
The Northwest Arkansas chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation will hold a big-game banquet on Feb. 9 at the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Springdale.
