Arrests

Benton County Sheriff’s Office

• Luis Gabriel Cardenas, 25, of 2198 E. Honeysuckle Road in Fayetteville was arrested Monday in connection with contempt, parole violation, possession of a controlled or counterfeit substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of firearm by certain persons and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms. Cardenas was being Monday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Rogers

• James Smith, 47, of 1504 Daline St. in Springdale was arrested Monday in connection with theft of property. Smith was being held Monday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Springdale

• Germaine A. Sharpe, 25, of 1504-B Christy Drive was arrested Monday in connection with felony third-degree domestic battery. Police said Sharpe hit his wife. Sharpe was in the Washington County Detention Center on Monday in lieu of $5,000 bond.

• Carlos A. Rosales, 31, of 514 Butterfield Coach Road M-203 was arrested Sunday in connection with three counts of felony aggravated domestic assault, misdemeanor driving while intoxicated, violation of the implied consent law and careless driving. Police said Rosales tried to run over his ex-wife and their two children in the parking lot of Aldi’s, 2009 S. Thompson St., then crashed his vehicle after leaving the scene. Rosales was in the Washington County Detention Center on Monday awaiting a bond hearing.

• Ruben Mojica, 24, of 713 Julian Drive in West Sacramento, Calif., was arrested Sunday in connection with felony theft by receiving. Police said Mojica was driving an automobile reported stolen. Mojica was in the Washington County Detention Center on Monday in lieu of $5,000 bond.

Washington County Sheriff’s Office

• Johnny Reed, 48, of 19274 Parks Cemetery Road in Winslow was arrested Sunday in connection with felony counts of residential burglary, terroristic threatening and misdemeanor charges of third-degree battery, first-degree criminal mischief, interfering with emergency communications, harassing communications and criminal trespass. Reed was in the Washington County Detention Center Monday on a $7,000 bond.

• Firefighters responded to a high pressure gas leak reported at Woods Lane and Hudson Road late Saturday.

• Brently Wilkerson, 14645 Wilkerson Road, reported Sunday the theft of an air conditioner and copper wire.

• A man reported Sunday a theft of an air conditioning unit behind a house at 15341 Wimpy Jones Road.

• Bryan McCool, 2735 Melissa St., reported Sunday the theft of a GPS unit.

Rogers

• A battery involving a man throwing a woman down some stairs was reported Saturday from 321 E. Walnut St.

• Theft of a prescription was reported Friday at Walmart, 2110 W. Walnut St. Peggy Wooden told police someone else picked up her prescription.

• A burglary was reported Friday at 1104 S. F St. Luis Gonzalez told police a PlayStation 3 was stolen.

Springdale

• Wayne Bolin reported Monday a burglary at Parson Hills Elementary School, 2326 Cardinal Drive.
