First NWA flu death confirmed

FAYETTEVILLE Washington County Coroner Roger Morris confirmed the first death in Northwest Arkansas in connection with the flu.
A man in his mid-70s died Friday at the Washington Regional Medical Center, Morris said.
Common causes of death associated with the flu are respiratory failure and pneumonia, Morris said, speaking in general terms.
