School Survey
A survey sent out by the Bentonville School District earlier this year asked voters why they did or didn’t support a millage increase in June for a second high school. I really like how Poore hired his ex boss to do a study in Bentonville. How much did that cost?

You had a chance to buy two empty hotels and convert them to schools at a bargain price but that wasn't considered, now your in a real rut. You'll get voted down again.

Move the 9th grade to the Jr High Schools. Few additional classrooms at each school is probably MUCH cheaper than building all the infrastructure of a new school. Takes 25% of the load on BHS and spread it across three campuses. Time to do that would've been now while they were building the new JrHS too. Poor poor planning

Wendy Cheatham in a previous news paper artical said they can get the bells and whistle later through fund raising or from the reserve fund. I understand there is over fourty million dollars in the reserve fund. The voters were duped when they voted to complete the Tiger Athletic complex. The school board used a little over 1 million dollars of excess money raised for the Arends Art Center to get the athletic complex started. One million dollars vs 15 million dollars it cost to build the complex is not completing anything. New High school equals new athletic complex bells and whitsles. Without guarantees vote no.
