— A man suspected of beating his girlfriend and stealing her car has been arrested in Oklahoma.

Nathaniel B. Gregory, 24, of 555 Cascade Circle in Springdale was arrested Wednesday in Glenpool, Okla., according to a Washington County arrest warrant. He was extradited and booked Thursday into the Washington County Detention Center in connection with felony robbery, aggravated assault, second-degree battery and fleeing.

On Tuesday, police responded to a disturbance call at 555 Cascade Circle, according to the warrant. They found a woman who said she had been beaten and choked by Gregory. She said he left in her black Acura car.

Police found and pursued the vehicle before stopping when the chase became too dangerous to the public, according to the warrant.

Gregory was found and arrested in Oklahoma the next day. He remained in the Washington County Detention Center on Friday in lieu of $25,000 bond.
