State co-Coaches Brooke and Scott Stoehr have Arkansas ties. Brooke Stoehr (formerly Brooke Lassiter) is a 1998 graduate of Hamburg High School and was on Joe Foley’s staff at UALR in 2003-2005. Scott Stoehr also was on Foley’s staff in 2004-2005.

Southern’s Malcolm Miller was the league’s player of the week after coming off the bench to score 28 points in Tuesday’s victory over Jackson State. He leads the team in scoring with an average of 16.1 points per game.
