A standoff involving the Benton County Sheriff's Office SWAT team and other deputies ended and a man was taken into custody this morning, said Capt. Brandon Rogers.
Maj. Rob Holly said the incident started when an argument between two people at the house escalated to threats. One person left the house and called deputies.
Officials were initially unable to make contact with the person inside the house, but the standoff ended shortly after 10 a.m. The house is near Hickory Lane and Hickory Drive east of Rogers.
