Police Link Man to Video Voyeurism

— A man faces a felony charge after police said he secretly recorded himself having sex with others.

Police arrested Travis Lunsford, 39, of 2717 W. Meadowlark Drive on a felony charge of video voyeurism.

Police received a tip in November about a “sexual predator in Fayetteville,” according to a preliminary arrest report. The tipster mailed a flash drive to police with 12 video recordings of adults having sex.

Detectives identified Lunsford in each of the videos.

As many as 10 women and two men didn’t know they were being recorded while having sex, according to the report. Police said Lunsford is seen in the videos setting up the recording device and turning it off when the sexual encounters are over. Most of the encounters happened in the same bedroom, according to the report.

Investigators said they’ve identified three of the women and the two men.

Lunsford shared a video with one of the people and told the person no one was aware they were recorded, according to the report.

One of the women identified by police admitted having sex with Lunsford. Police haven’t contacted any other women in the videos.

Lunsford was arrested and taken to the Washington County Detention Center, where he was being held Wednesday on $5,000 bond.
