— As we do every year, NWA Media invited the nonprofit organizations that help our community all year to ask for help in return. This is the final installment of their wish lists.

BELLA VISTA ANIMAL SHELTER

WHAT: The Bella Vista Animal Shelter is a 501(c)3 nonprofit.

Our mission is to rescue and rehabilitate the homeless dogs and cats of Bella Vista. We provide food, shelter and medical care for animals in need until they can be adopted into loving homes. In 2012, we provided shelter to 834 lost animals and successfully lowered our euthanasia rate from 5 percent to 4 percent.

WISH LIST: High-quality dry and canned dog and cat food, kitten and puppy food, dog and cat toys, clay cat litter, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, fabric softener sheets, bleach, Mr.

Clean “Febreze” cleaner, large trash bags, toilet paper and HP02colored printer ink. Cash donations are always accepted as well, and we are happy to provide a tax deductible receipt.

ARTIS ANN MIDDLE SCHOOL

WHAT: Artis Ann Middle School serves 638 students in fifth and sixth grades in Bentonville. The school population is comprised of both boys and girls with a 38 percent free and reduced lunch program.

WISH LIST: Hand weights one, two or five pounds; video games for exercise; “Dance, Dance Revolution” for the PlayStation 2; Wii “Just Dance 3”;

Wii console (gently used or refurbished is fine).

LOVING CHOICES PREGNANCY CENTERS

WHAT: Loving Choices Pregnancy Centers has served women facing unplanned pregnancies for 25 years. Services include free pregnancy tests, limited ultrasounds, STD testing, options counseling, postabortion counseling and post-abortion Bible studies.

All services are free and confidential. The 18-month mentoring program includes education classes for expectant mothers in which counselors teach clients about healthy pregnancy practices, parenting skills and life skills.

Clients are rewarded with “Mommy Bucks” which can be redeemed in the Baby Boutique. In 2012, LovingChoices served about 800 clients. Clients earned over 50,000 diapers through the mentoring program.
