— Two Springdale men were arrested Friday in connection with an armed robbery after authorities said they robbed a man at gunpoint after arranging to buy speakers from him.

Zach Williams told a Centerton police officer he met with two men he was talking with on Craigslist to sell subwoofers, according to court documents. Williams said he met them at 9:30 p.m. Friday at Harps, but one of the men told him that they needed to get more money and would meet him at the White Oak Station.

Williams said when the men arrived at the store, he asked for the money. Delgado pulled a gun, pointed it at him and ordered him to give him everything in his pockets, according to court documents. Williams handed over his wallet, cellphone and iPod. They also took the speakers, according to police.

Williams told police Delgado threatened to shoot him if he told anybody, according to an affidavit.

Police obtained the number that the men used to call Williams, according to court documents. Police were able to track the pair through the cellphone. Rogers police made a traffic stop and arrested them.

Delgado claimed Ramos-Rosales pressured him into stealing the speakers by making him feel guilty for things that Ramos-Rosales had done for him in the past. Ramos-Rosales told police he did not know Delgado had the gun until after he robbed Williams, and they never spoke of or planned on robbing Williams.

Police found two BB handguns in the car that Ramos-Rosales and Delgado were in. Police found Williams’ cellphone in the car and the iPod was found in Delgado’s pocket, according to court documents. Police did not recover the speakers or the wallet.

Ramos-Rosales was being held Monday in the Benton County Jail on a $70,000 bond, and Delgado was still in jail on a $100,000 bond.

The two could each be sentenced from 10 to 40 years or life imprisonment if convicted of aggravated robbery.
