Power restored in Benton County

Southwestern Electric Power Company reported Tuesday afternoon that 5,176 customers in Benton County had lost power. The power went out shortly before 2 p.m., and had been restored by 3:50 p.m.
Shortly after 2 p.m., police were directing traffic at many major intersections in the eastern and southern parts of the town.
Rogers School District officials reported that several schools had lost power.The Rogers Fire Department responded to an elevator rescue at Rogers Heritage High School, and an elevator maintenance crew released a trapped woman from the elevator.
