Hannah Storm, an ESPN anchor who suffered second-degree burns on her chest and hands and first degree burns to her face and neck three weeks ago in a propane gas grill accident at her home, will return to the air today as the host of ABC’s telecast of the Tournament of Roses parade.

Brian Koontz, 29, of Balsam Grove, N.C., has been charged with breaking and entering, larceny and injury to personal property in the theft of 100 meteorites, television monitors, overhead video projectors, a microscope and other scientific instruments from a science education center, police said.

Peter Velasco, spokesman for the State Department, said officials are aware of reports that al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula has offered 6.6 pounds of gold, worth about $160,000, to anyone who kills Gerald Feierstein, the U.S. ambassador in Yemen, adding: “We take these threats very seriously.”
