BELLA VISTA — The Benton County property tax books open Friday for collection for 2012 taxes.
Collector Gloria Peterson announced Tuesday property owners will soon receive property tax statements for 2012 taxes that must be paid this year.
Taxes due are payable on or before Oct. 15. The 2012 real estate and personal property taxes will become delinquent after Oct. 15 with a 10 percent penalty added.
“We hope this information will be helpful in explaining the process of paying taxes and thank you for allowing us to assist you any way that we can,” Peterson stated in a news release.
