Anglers Limited To Four Walleye

The enthusiasm of walleye anglers knows no limits, but anglers need to know about walleye length limits and daily limits before casting aline. At Beaver, Table Rock, Bull Shoals, Norfork and Greers Ferry lakes, walleye must be 18 inches or longer to keep. The daily limit is four walleye.

In these White Riverlakes, walleye can be large, all the way up to 22 pounds, 11 ounces. That’s the Arkansas record that was caught at Greers Ferry in 1982.

On other Arkansas lakes, fishermen can keep six walleye of any size per day.

The reduced limit and length limit does not apply to another large lake, Ouachita, which has one of Arkansas’s better walleye fi sheries.
