Ecclesia Baseball Coach Realizes A Dream

Ecclesia College players practice Feb. 19 at the Tyson Sports Complex in Springdale. The baseball team originally started as a club sport, but has since moved to a college program.

The new Ecclesia College baseball program has been the answer to many prayers.

I wonder why a private university (using this term very loosely) located in Elm Springs is allowed to monopolize a public park in Springdale? This park is meant for Springdale citizens and should not be used for this purpose. I promise you they are not paying for the upkeep of the field.

Let Elm Springs take care of them, They can pay for the stadium with all the new ticket revenue they’ll rake in from people traveling to the games.
