ROGERS Rogers High senior Nathan Street has been invited to walkon the Ouachita Baptist tennis team.
Street was 13-5 in singles play last season and advanced to the quarterfinals at the Class 7A State Tennis Tournament.
“I am very excited Nathan has chosen Ouachita to continue his tennis and education,” said Ouachita tennis coach Craig Ward. “He will be a great asset to our tennis program. Nathan is a person of the highest character and will fit perfectly in the environment at Ouachita. I am very excited to be his coach for the next four years.”
Mounties tennis coach Mike Harper said he expects Street to have an impact at Ouachita Baptist.
“I am really happy for Nathan and wish him continued success at Ouachita,” Harper said. “As a Ouachita alum, it's great to have players with Nathan's character and work ethic continue to make the university stronger and more successful in the future.”
