‘Sheet Fort’ Expands In South Fayetteville

— The Artist’s Laboratory Theatre has built its “infamous sheet fort venue” to host a variety of diverse performing arts groups at the B-Unlimited Theatre, which ALT founder Erika Wilhite describes as “an intimate warehousespace” at 612. W. Center St. in Fayetteville.

The schedule includes:

Sound Affects Improv - Long-form musical comedy, 8 p.m. today & Saturday. $5.

Speak for Yourself Open Mic - Fayetteville’s first openmic storytelling show, 8 p.m.

March 1 & March 8. Free.

Throwback Thursday - Presented by Big Picture House, a new independent movie experience in Fayetteville, hosting a nostalgic homage to the films of the1980s and ’90s, including “Goonies” and “Pretty in Pink,” 8 p.m. March 7 & March 21.

Free.

Found Fayetteville - Presented by the Artist’s Laboratory Theatre, a multimedia performancecomprised of “found in Fayetteville” material, 8 p.m.

March 22-23. $10.

Big Tent Revival - A spoken word performance by slam poet Houston Hughes, 8 p.m. $5.
