Arrests

Fayetteville

• Steven Bercher, 18, of 1069 Madison 7500 in Huntsville was arrested Wednesday in connection with felony possession of possession of a controlled substance, along with misdemeanor operating unsafe vehicle, no proof of insurance, no proof of ownership and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was in the Washington County Detention Center on $1,115 bond Wednesday.

Springdale

• Steven R. Gregg, 38, of 1555 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Fayetteville was arrested Tuesday in connection with felony terroristic threatening. Police said Gregg threatened to break his landlord’s neck. Gregg was in the Washington County Detention Center on Wednesday in lieu of $5,000 bond.

• Lewis R. Chafin, 22, of 52 Briermeadow in Farmington was arrested Tuesday in connection with felony procuring a narcotic drug by fraud or deceit and nonfinancial identity fraud. Police said Chafin tried to pass an forged prescription for oxycodone at Price Cutter, 1109 S. Thompson St. Chafin was in the Washington County Detention Center on Wednesday in lieu of $3,500 bond.

• Christopher D. Randolph, 19, and Kyle Alexander, 23, of 5325 N. Oak St. Apt. 102F were arrested Tuesday in connection with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Randolph and Alexander were in the Washington County Detention Center on Wednesday in lieu of $5,000 bond each.

• Noe Tovias Jr., 28, of 1096 Delmonte Lane was arrested Tuesday in connection with felony revocation of a suspended sentence and a Springdale warrant for failure to pay fines and costs. Tovias was in the Washington County Detention Center on Wednesday awaiting a bond hearing.

• Brian Salyer, 33, of 62B Applegate Drive was arrested Tuesday in connection with a Jasper County, Mo., felony warrant for a parole violation. Salyer was in the Washington County Detention Center on Wednesday awaiting extradition to Missouri.

• Michael Everett, 34, of 1555 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Fayetteville was arrested Tuesday in connection with felony theft of property, breaking or entering and fraudulent use of a credit card, along with misdemeanor fraudulent use of a credit card. He also faces charges from another department. He was in the Washington County Detention Center on $4,015 bond Wednesday.

• Demarcus Williams, 20, of 2777 N. Buckner Blvd. in Dallas was arrested Tuesday in connection with felony second-degree battery. He was in the Washington County Detention Center on $3,500 bond Wednesday.

• An accident blocked two lanes of traffic at Eighth Street and Hudson Road on Tuesday. Tow trucks were called for a Ford truck and silver Volkswagen Jetta.

• Marta Ramirez reported Tuesday a vehicle was broken into and a wallet stolen at Tyson Foods, 212 E. Elm St.

• James Hull, 1907 S. Ninth St., told police Tuesday someone used his name to open a phone account.

• Ava Martinez, 307 E. Summerwood Court, told police Tuesday someone attempted to break into her house.

• A city employee reported Tuesday bathrooms were vandalized at Lake Atalanta, 120 N. Lake Atalanta Road.

• Four air conditioning units were reported stolen from Mercy Medicine, 1110 W. Elm St., on Tuesday.

Springdale

• Greg Vickers reported Tuesday a burglary at 1935 E. Arkansas 264.
