Harps Food Stores continued to expand its footprint when it opened its 72nd store Wednesday in West Fork.

Well, West Fork has *had* a grocery store, Superfoods, which also sells gas, and has a car wash. I've been grateful for this little store over the years. No doubt, it will suffer as a result of Harp's opening. But I really like Harp's, and can't get everything I want or need at Superfoods, so I'm glad it's opened. With 90 FT and PT employees, it's a boom for the community, too. Welcome, Harp's!

I like Harps because its a local store, but many of their older stores in Springdale and Fayyetteville are pretty run down and the produce is horrible. They need to re-invest in these stores before they spread themsleves too thin. And find a better produce supplier.

Thats crazy.. harp's produce is still a 100 times better than what you will find at any walmart! Might as well say the same about their meat too..

And they're very successful.
Does that mean that not all jobs come from the great generosity and ingenuity of the 1%?

Just think, if Harps, is successful in West Fork, you will get a Walmart also. Walmart is attracted to Harps locations like fleas are to cats. Harps may be "employee owned", but it is corporate managed.
