— HOT SPOTSLAKE CONWAY Bream are biting well on red worms and Lake crickets along the shore in 4 feet of water. Crappie

Ashbaugh are biting excellently on minnows and crappie jigs fished along the channels of the creeks in 4-6 feet of Lake water. Bass are biting well on soft-plastic worms and Charles buzzbaits fished along the rocks when the Black River St. Francis afternoon sun warms the water. Catfishing is River good on minnows hung from yo-yos in 3-4 feet of water.

LAKE DARDANELLE Alabama rigs, jerk baits NORTHEAST & black and blue jigs are catching bass upriver.

EAST-CENTRAL A lot of crappie are being caught upriver on minnows and bubble gum jigs. White bass were being caught on small Rat-L-Traps. Catfish are being Horseshoe taken on cut shed.

Lake LAKE MAUMELLE Largemouth bass fishing is fair

Arc using jigs, jerk baits and Rat-L-Traps fished 8-10 feet deep around rocky points and shorelines. Spotted bass are biting well on jigs and spoons fished 10 -15 feet deep White around rocky areas. Crappie are biting well on channel edges River with brush and other cover. Bream are biting excellently onBear Creek worms fished at the edge of the channel. Catfish are fair with very few reports coming in.

LAKE NORFORK Stripers are schooling in the main lake and are being caught on live shiners and shad fished slowly 35-50 feet deep.

Some baitfish are starting to move up. Bass are hitting crankbaits along the bank and suspending jerk baits over deeper water. Crappie fishing is fair using minnows fished around brush.

LAKE OUACHITA Black bass are being caught on football jigs, large spinnerbaits and Alabama rigs with shad-colored soft baits. Striper fishing

is good with most being caught on Alabama rigs with 3- and 4-inch shad

colored swimbaits or live bait. Secondary lake points in creek channels and

main lake points near major creeks are still the best locations. Crappie fishing

is good with most being caught near and over brush i20-25 feet deep.

Catfishing is fair using cut bait and live bait on jug lines and trotlines set 20-

30 feet deep.
