SPRINGDALE RESIDENTS WANT NICE, SIT-DOWN RESTAURANTS ON EAST SIDE OF TOWN

Randall Body wanted to take his wife, Mikal, out to eat to celebrate her birthday. But as he considered where they would eat, he realized their home near J.O. Kelly Middle School in east Springdale is far from most sit-down restaurants.

Two downtown sports bars have come and gone in the past 12 years. There's too little traffic downtown.
A good bar-b-que place might work on E.side. Trouble with such places around here is the poor quality. The two we visited a few times had the worst service imaginable. Many people have different ideas about what makes good bar-b-que.
Acapulco is a nice sit-down Mexican restaurant with moderate prices and a full bar.Service is excellent. It's located just before the fire station on E. Robinson.
