One person who bought a Mega Millions ticket at a gas station in Alma is now $1 million richer.
The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery said the as-yet-unidentified player matched all five white balls but not the Mega Millions number in Tuesday night's drawing, which is good for a $250,000 prize. The player also bought the $1 Megaplier option, which multiplies the prize into a $1 million payday.
The winning numbers were 1, 15, 19, 30, 56 and the Mega Millions number 28.
The ticket was purchased at the Hilltop Travel Center, 8265 Arkansas 282.
The big win comes just a week after another Crawford County player won $10,000 on a Mega Millions ticket.
The $26 million jackpot in Tuesday's drawing was won by a player in Maryland.
