Wal-Mart Stores Inc. said Tuesday that it has set the company’s 2013 shareholders meeting for June 7.
The annual meeting will begin at 7 a.m. in the Bud Walton Arena at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, the Bentonville-based retailer said in a statement.
The meeting will also be broadcast on the company’s website at http://stock.walmart.com.
April 11 is the record date for that meeting, the company said, which means shareholders must be registered on the company’s books by then to be entitled to attend.
Meanwhile, the company is set to announce its fourth-quarter earnings at 6 a.m. Thursday.
