Act!vated Story Theatre, a nationally touring theatrical troupe, will perform multicultural folktales for children at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Rogers Public Library.
Children are invited to learn parts and perform as “guest stars” during the free, 45-minute performance. Children who would like to participate should attend a freepre-show workshop set to begin at 9:30 a.m.
Participation is limited to 12 children, and no acting experience is necessary. The theater troupe is known for its high-energy dramatizations of folktales, which often include physical comedy, zany props and costumes, audience participation and music.
