Patrick outguns guys, takes pole

Patrick became the first woman to claim the pole at Daytona, while Martin checked in at 28th. Only the front row was set Sunday. Qualifying races continue Thursday.
Danica Patrick has paved the way for women in the past, in Indianapolis and Japan. The spotlight is nothing new. But never has it been this bright before.
