LITTLE ROCK — An Oklahoma man died in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning in Franklin County.
According to Arkansas State Police fatal-crash reports, C.H. Betterton, 81, of Grove, Okla., was headed east on Interstate 40 near the 24-mile marker around 7:30 a.m. when his pickup drifted over the median.
The truck went across the westbound lanes and hit several trees on the north side of the highway before stopping.
Betterton was pronounced dead at the scene.
