— TAMU-CORPUS CHRISTI 60, CENTRAL ARKANSAS 58, OT

Megan Herbert finished with 35 points and 15 rebounds, but Central Arkansas (13-11, 6-7 Southland Conference) lost its fifth consecutive game, falling to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (3-21, 2-10) at the Farris Center in overtime.

Brandi Huff made one of two free throws with one second remaining in overtime, and Herbert’s desperation three-point attempt from beyond half ourt did not fall.

Desiree Rogers had nine points for UCA, which has not won since Jan. 26 when it beat Lamar in overtime at home.

The Islanders, who were winless in the Southland before beating McNeese State on Saturday, were led by Ashley Darley and Taryn Gregory, who each had 12 points.
