A traffic stop near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Interstate 540 resulted in the discovery of about 10 pounds of marijuana hidden in a sleeping bag, according to a news release from the Fayetteville Police Department.
Phanomphone Lakhiaminh, 53, of Fort Smith, was arrested Friday in connection with possession with intent to deliver. Police decided to search the vehicle because of her nervous behavior during the traffic stop, according to the news release.
Lakhiaminh was being held Friday in the Washington County Jail with no bond set.
