Deputies Say Man Choked Woman, Threatened Man

— A Lincoln man faces felony charges after deputies said he choked a woman and threatened a man with a knife.

Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Dustin Duane Risley, 25, of 10073 Woodlyn Drive in connection with felony terroristic threatening and two counts of aggravated assault, along with misdemeanor third-degree domestic battery.

Deputies went to the house on Woodlyn Drive at 11:54 p.m. Wednesday for a domestic disturbance report.

According to an arrest report, Risley dragged a woman by her hair out of his house and threatened to kill her dog. Deputies said he barricaded himself inside his home. When the woman returned to get her clothes, Risley dragged her down a dirt road by her hair and began to choke her.

Deputies said Risley had a knife in his hand and ran toward and threatened to kill the man.

Risley was arrested and taken to the Washington County Detention Center, where he was being held Thursday on $150,000 bond.
