Mailed DVDs lead to child porn arrest

An investigation into mailed DVDs containing child pornography led police to arrest a 50-year-old Fayetteville man, according to a news release from the Fayetteville Police Department.

Brad McMullin was arrested in connection with possession of matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child, according to the news release.

U.S. postal inspectors initiated the investigation into DVDs containing child pornography being sent to a Fayetteville residence, according to the news release. Police searching McMullin's residence saw child pornography playing and found several DVDs similar to those described, according to a preliminary arrest report.

Jane Guiton, chief advancement officer for Ozark Guidance, said McMullin worked as a nurse. She wouldn’t say whether he was still employed or how long he worked for Ozark Guidance, but that he was never alone with any clients.

“We want assure everyone that we always do everything we can to make sure our clients are safe and well cared for,” Guiton said. “We’ll do everything we can to cooperate with the authorities doing the investigation.”
