Allowing a Love's truck stop in an area near the new Don Tyson overpass is a terrible idea. Imagine 100 trucks and trailers engines running 24/7. The noise alone will be overwhelming. Think about all of the diesel fumes produced! Next thing you know Loves will request access for trucks on the Parkway.

Here's some support Mike ... How about locating it about 3 miles to the south or 5 miles to the north. I agree with kraze. We do not need 50-100 more minimum wage jobs in Springdale and it would be an eyesore for what could be a very nice area for Springdale. I have never seen a truck stop that made an area more attractive for retail or professional business space. Just imagine this ... Love's builds a truck stop across the street from Academy Sports in Fayetteville (or anywhere in Fayetteville for that matter) or in the Pinnacle Hills area of Rogers. What kind of future do we want for Springdale? We've been trying the blue collar experiement now for decades amd look at where we are now.

This is the worst location for a Loves Truck Stop in Springdale. It doesn't fit in with the residential area that surrounds the property and it will only make it harder to promote the area as an entertainment district. Truck traffic needs to be kept off of DTP. It is not built to handle it.

It would work right across from McAdooles, right beside the other traffic snarling trash that's going in there.
