BENTONVILLE — The Benton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating numerous thefts involving telephone cable over the past few weeks.
Numerous locations across the county have been targeted, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release.
On Jan. 30, about 2:30 p.m., 800 feet of telephone cable was cut on Arkansas 68, south of U.S. 412 in Siloam Springs.
The next day, about 4 p.m., 600 feet cable was cut at the intersection of Arkansas 68 and Butler Road, north of U.S. 412 in Siloam Springs.
On Feb. 6, 1,000 feet of cable was cut south of Arkansas 264 in Lowell.
