Huntsville Rallies Past Vilonia

The Huntsville Lady Eagles led for exactly 3.6 seconds Friday night, but it was enough to claim the 5A-West Conference lead.

Huntsville 52, Vilonia 45

Cole Frick and Peyton Green scored 12 points apiece to help the Eagles hold off Vilonia and remain in the hunt for a 5A State Tournament bid.

Huntsville (15-6, 5-5) hit 12 of 17 free throws in the fourth quarter as Vilonia tried to rally.

Aaron Newell led all scorers with 14 points for Vilonia, which pulled within 46-40 with less than three minutes left in the fourth quarter. Vilonia dropped to 7-16 and 1-9 in the 5A-West.
