Police are looking for a man accused of impersonating an attorney and defrauding non-English speaking residents, according to a news release from the Springdale Police Department.
The man is identified in the news release as Anthony Calderon, 51. The man accusing Calderon told police that Calderon represented people as an attorney in various courts, according to the news release.
Police interviewed others, primarily illegal immigrants, who said they paid Calderon, thinking he was a lawyer, the news release stated. Police ask anyone who hired Calderon or knows where he is to call 479-750-8139 or an anonymous tip line at 479-750-4484.
