Earnings report

Companies reporting quarterly earnings Wednesday included: CVS Caremark, the retailer and pharmacy benefi ts manager, a profit of $1.13 billion, or 90 cents a share, up from $1.06 billion, or 81 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue rose nearly 11 percent to $31.39 billion. Shares fell 48 cents to close at $51.24.
