— The Bentonville Public Library will host a Chinese New Year celebration from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Activities include a traditional Chinese lion dance with an authentic costume from China, storytime, crafts and a short film, according to a news release.

Sue Ann Pekel, children’s librarian, said participants can celebrate the Year of the Snake with special snake books at story time. Children can also research their zodiac animal and make a mask to wear, she said.

The library is at 405 S. Main St. Activities will be in the Walmart Community Room.
