Two arrested in Missouri following chase that started in Rogers

Two men are in jail in McDonald County, Mo., following a chase that started in Rogers and involved several agencies, according to a news release from the Benton County Sheriff's Office.

The chase started when Eric Watts refused to pull over for a deputy at Interstate 540 and Pleasant Grove Road in Rogers, according to the news release. Deputies and officers chased the vehicle through Rogers, Bentonville and Bella Vista before the chase ended in Pineville, Mo., the news release stated. Bella Vista police used spike strips on Watts' vehicle.

Watts and his passenger are being held in the McDonald County Jail on various traffic and drug charges, according to the news release. Benton County intends to issue felony warrants for Watts' traffic violations in Arkansas, the news release stated.
