100 YEARS AGO Feb. 6, 1913 PARAGOULD — Beginning March 1, all dogs that run at large within the corporate limits of Paragould must be muzzled, according to the provisions of an ordinance passed Monday night at the meeting of the City Council. Farmers coming to town must either leave their dogs at home, muzzle them or tie them to their vehicles after they reach the city. While there was much protesting against the ordinance, members of the council decided it to be for the best interests of the community.
