Hanson Sentenced in White Powder Incidents

— Philip Hanson of Siloam Springs was sentenced tpday in federal court to 15 years in prison for sending threatening letters and white powder to former coworkers at DaySpring.

Hanson mailed the letters in October and November 2011 to the company, two banks, a couple schools, a newspaper office and a police department. The white powder was baking soda.

Hanson worked for DaySpring for 28 years before he was terminated in 2009.
