Forrest City's Beanum signs with Arkansas

The 6-4, 235-pound defensive end out of Forrest City made his commitment to the Razorbacks official in a signing day ceremony at the school on Wednesday morning.

Beanum is projected to play defensive end when he gets to Fayetteville. He was ranked as the no. 142 defensive end in the country and a two-star recruit by Rivals.com. He was ranked as the no. 9 overall player in the state by 247Sports.com

A first-team all-state selection who will play in the East/West All-Star game in Fayetteville in June, Beanum brings the Hogs their only defensive end in the 2013 class.

Beanum originally committed to Arkansas in August and is one of seven players in the state to get an offer from the Razorbacks. He also held offers from Arkansas State, Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Ole Miss.
